Team of researchers collected urine samples from 244 mothers during pregnancy and during the birth, then compare it to samples taken from the children of the pregnant mother at the age of one to three years. BPA was found by 85 percent in maternal urine samples, and more than 96 percent of the sample of children.
As reported by The Telegraph, Monday (10/24/2011), the researchers found that maternal PCB concentrations during pregnancy and childbirth remain the same. Whereas in children, PCB concentrations decreased from age 1 to 3 years. However, higher contents and more variable than the thumb.
