Women most often noticed a strong smell, sharp and stinging in the urine. If only happened a few times, it is probably only the influence of food eaten, but if the smell of urine is prolonged, it could indicate a health issue that needs attention.

1. Urinary tract infections

Vaginal infections can also cause odor in urine. Actually a bad odor comes from the vagina. So often smells of urine accompanied with burning and itching in the vagina.
3. Drug or food
Sometimes foods or certain drugs are responsible for the bad smell of urine. For example, asparagus, pithecolobium or persian nut is one food that causes the bad smell in urine.
Also, if you eat lot of drugs for body disorders or has been taking some vitamins or other health supplements. Certain drugs can cause a strong odor in urine.
