Anemia or commonly known as anemia disease is a symptom caused by lack of iron in the body. Iron itself is a basic ingredient to form hemoglobin in the blood that carries lots of oxygen.
The low content of iron (Fe) on the patient’s body of anemia causes red blood cells are produced too little.
As we know the function of red blood cells is very important, mostly as a transportation of nutrients, especially oxygen. That is why the person who get anemia often seen weak, tired, listless, that is because the supply of oxygen to perform all their activities are minimal. In anemia, the Hb (hemoglobin) is low, whereas hemoglobin carries oxygen in the blood. If the oxygen that brought just a little then heart is work harder to provide the oxygen. If left too long then the heart will be damaged and increasing the risk of heart disease.
Besides making heart works heavier, if anemia is not handled properly, it can cause complications including fatigue and stress on body organs that are not getting oxygen and nutrients.
